JuaGrid is an ambitious venture founded in 2024 with a clear purpose: to build East Africa’s first solar-powered, carrier-neutral data center hub—right in the heart of Ruiru, Kenya. Our journey began with a fundamental question: What will it take to power Africa’s digital future locally, sustainably, and securely? As the continent experiences rapid growth in cloud services, fintech, e-commerce, and digital health, the need for reliable, low-latency, and sovereign digital infrastructure has never been more urgent. Yet, much of Africa still relies on offshore data centers, resulting in higher costs, slower access, and greater vulnerability. JuaGrid was created to change this.While we are still in the early stages of development, JuaGrid is grounded in expert planning, a strong technical foundation, and a bold commitment to sustainability. Boniface Mundia COO
JuaGrid’s Chief Operating Officer brings operational discipline and executional strength to the company’s ambitious roadmap. With extensive experience in project management, logistics, and facility operations, the COO is responsible for transforming vision into action—from site development and vendor coordination to compliance, safety, and uptime standards. Known for leading complex technical deployments across fast-paced environments, the COO ensures that every phase of JuaGrid’s construction and rollout meets world-class expectations while remaining locally grounded and agile

The Chief Technology Officer at JuaGrid is the driving force behind the platform’s technical architecture, innovation strategy, and infrastructure design. With deep expertise in data center engineering, cloud systems, and cybersecurity, the CTO is responsible for designing and implementing a robust, scalable, and secure environment for our clients. From Tier III resiliency planning to renewable energy integration and network interconnectivity, the CTO ensures that JuaGrid’s technology stack is future-ready—built to support mission-critical workloads while maintaining sustainability at its core.
